Hi, again several hundred commits since my previous build. This build has of course a whole slew of fixes, new features and such. See the file with the log containingchanges from 25772 to 25969 for all the details.
For those interested in COLLADA there’s a fix by Arystan that addresses some rotation issues and naming issues.
Further there are fixes for crashers (opening properties window could crash, projection painting on subsurf or multires could crash. And there’s fixes for existing, but broken functionality, like edge slide after loop cut when face select mode was enabled.
Download the version you need for your Windows and give it a spin.
Remember, comments and other feedback (bugs, other issues) are always welcome!

Your previous release run without any problem.
Weird, for some reason the .blender/ directory is entirely missing. Thanks for reporting! I’ll upload a better archive at the end of the day.
Actually, I just reupload them right away, fixing the archives was easy after all :°
blender-2.5-r25969-win64 crashed on Windows 7 64bit platform.
Error message from MS Visual C++ Runtime Library reads:

I reupped the archive, no more crashes due to missing directory.

Crash with 25969-win32 on XP SP3, same message like wdavidbaldwin
I’ve reuploaded the archive – it shouldn’t crash anymore
But apparently wrong splash – I’ll just do a completely fresh set of builds tonight, so it gets fixed too. Other than that, functionality should be ok!
Hi jesterKing,
I just redownloded it and all is working. The wrong splash screen it not a big issue ;-)
Thanks for this release.
Regards.
Hey JesterKing.
Thanks for the work :)
Could you tell me though, am I the only one missing a lot of faces when I import a DAE file..?
Its a simple file from sketchup, only containing a box with som extrusions. (the scale seems to be off to, but that can be corrected :))
Sounds like you have good results and this is first time i play with 2.5 and Collada.
Maybe I am missing something..?
Regards.

Hi jesterKing,
I’m sure that you are very busy but I’m wondering if you would consider a new build please. This build is getting a little old. (1000 commits since last) The lapix builds on Graphical don’t include Collada.
Thanks for your hard work.

hey JK,
just letting you know i am still running your last build for win64, it gives by far the best rendering speed for my rig (amd64), but it would be great if you could do another build with a newer snapshot…
thanks.
